Ozone Therapy
What is Ozone Therapy?
Ozone (O₃) is a natural form of oxygen, present in the atmosphere and in the ozone layer that protects the Earth from ultraviolet rays.
In medicine, it is used at very low, carefully controlled concentrations.
At high doses, ozone is oxidizing and toxic, but at a medically adapted dose, it triggers a phenomenon called hormesis: a mild oxidative stimulation that encourages the body to strengthen its antioxidant defenses and cellular repair mechanisms.
Thus, ozone therapy acts as a natural regulatory therapy, helping the body restore balance, energy, and its self-healing capacity.
Practiced for over a century in many countries (Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia…), it is now recognized as a key component of integrative medicine.
